I don't take pictures…I make memories

The Stationary Photowalk @ The Duke of Richmond – Queen Street West, Toronto

Back on Aug 4th, 2010 I (along with the cast from Full Frame, the Social Photography Podcast), arranged for a small photowalk in the downtown core along Queen St. West.

Location for the Stationary Photowalk

Slated to meet at the Duke of Richmond (20 queen St. West) for 6pm, we all arrived relatively on time. An amazing group of people, we had what some would call…“the best photowalk EVER!”

There were a few issues that I learned, this being the first time I’ve ever attempted something like this. The first was to give more time than a month to spread the word about the photowalk. Next was the time factor. Starting a photowalk @6pm, you probably shouldn’t start at the pub LOL. And if you are going to start with meeting at the pub….DON’T GET COMFORTABLE!

That being said it was an awesome time! It turned into more of meet n greet than a photowalk, and everyone was okay with that. We spend several hours just yapping about photography, getting to know each other. It was good times!
